Villa de Ponti

Built in 1925 on a project by the engineer Dugnani, the villa is located near the railway station and appears to us as an eclectic villa with a vast garden of simple installation although rich in numerous and valuable arboreal and shrub species, even exotic and some of which considerable dimensions, planted at the time of the construction of the villa itself.

Later enriched with other elements and varieties, the garden was organized as a botanical garden and dedicated to the memory of Gaspare De ‘Ponti. Today it is owned by the Valle San Martino Mountain Community, which has placed its administrative and operational headquarters there. The Villa de Ponti also hosts the visitors center of the Ecomuseo of Valle San Martino.
