Villa Adelaide: “The ideal location for your special event”
In Tassera (Alserio) Villa Adelaide, built in 1845-46 in English Tudor style, opens its doors. Immersed in a romantic park of 80 thousand square meters, it offers its guests an ancient and perfectly preserved charm. A princely villa that in 1890 hosted the then King of Italy Umberto I and in the 1870s the Kedivè of Egypt, Ismail Pasha. The halls of the aristocratic residence will make you relive the ancient splendor of the nineteenth century. Here time seems to have stopped thanks to the love and dedication of the owners who have kept the house and garden respecting the original furniture and plantations.
The villa is surrounded by a park of rare beauty. Centuries-old plants, gravel paths, water lily ponds and bamboo groves protect the house and make it one of the most beautiful gardens in Brianza. Of rare beauty and grandeur the cedar tree of Lebanon, 170 years old, one of the largest in Lombardy, 24 meters high and with a circumference of more than 8 meters. And then: huge magnolias, beeches, oaks, oaks, camellias and ginkobilobe of considerable value.
Inside the property a small church contemporary to the villa, still consecrated and dedicated to Our Lady of the snow, guarantees weddings and religious services in the name of absolute privacy and romance.
The spectacular Villa Adelaide lends itself to private and corporate events for weddings, parties, lunches and concerts. But that’s not all: the immense garden and the ancient rooms perfectly furnished with the style of the time make it an ideal location for photo shoots and films. In spring Villa Adelaide hosts Flora et Decora, a great floricultural kermesse that from Milan wanted to move here.
