Imagine a quiet place, out of the usual standard, intimate and with attention to the smallest details, where you feel pampered and always at ease: this is Locanda Capolago, a constantly evolving hospitality and restaurant project born of the great passion of Maurizio Lazzarin with the assistance of chef Claudio Torre.
The Gastronomic Restaurant, the heart of our hospitality, is located on the ground floor with a large internal space with 40 seats divided into three beautiful rooms.
We have also personally designed our garden located in the historic centre of Colico, creating a beautiful open-air veranda where six historic plane trees tower over the entire structure and elegant parasols guarantee a pleasant feeling of intimacy. Iron lanterns give off a soft light that creates the right atmosphere to enjoy your perfect dinner, all surrounded by several beds of aromatic herbs, roses and green hedges. An ideal setting in which to enjoy our cuisine, based on the quality and freshness of expertly combined ingredients.
Few tables and plenty of space ensure you the right privacy and the silence will be broken only by the light murmurs coming from the historical part of the village. We define our cuisine as “intelligent”, based on respect for the raw materials, as we use modern cooking techniques to preserve the quality and freshness of the food.
The Locanda’s wine cellar, which still retains its original 19th century walls and is humidity controlled, boasts the presence of sought-after and important wine labels that go perfectly with our type of cuisine.
