Set in Varenna, the Ornithological Museum “L. Scanagatta” houses a scientific library with more than 1500 volumes as well as a large collection of local avifauna examples.

The exposition is dated back to 1962 and it owns its prestige to the productive cooperation between naturalists and ornithologists.
