Marconi would certainly have been proud to know that in a wonderful hamlet such as Bellano someone would have established the Radio Museum…the “Ca’ di Radio Vecc” just to name it in local dialect.
This unusual unmissable Museum stands in a very picturesque alley of this stunning town.
Entering the Museum is something like taking a big step into the past, literally walking through history, from the very first radio so far.
One of the masterpieces you can find there is of course the handmade radio built by a prisoner in the Mauthausen Concentration Camp.
Managed by a lovely couple, this Museum is definitely a real jewel.
You may continue the tour of Bellano by walking through alleys, old buildings and antique churches, tasting also a delightful dinner surrounded by the “lake atmosphere”.
