The Barbarossa Tower
Set in Mandello del Lario, The Tower of Maggiana is also known as the Barbarossa Tower for he used to live there.
Owned then by Giovanni Alippi, it was restored and embellished by a panoramic terrace which offers stunning views on Mandello and on the Lake itself. The Tower is open to the public only upon request, except for the special local event “Torre in festa” which takes place on June.
